Hi, I am AJ.

I am a city girl convert after having grown up on a small hobby farm outside of Staples, MN. I moved to Grand Forks, ND in 2012 to attend the University of North Dakota and after graduating with my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work, my family and I stayed until 2022 when we moved to Little Falls, MN.
I've been married for nearly 10 years to my husband, Jonny, who you may see on occasion as my assistant! He is a fellow creative that takes pride in his work and loves to make sure others are 100% happy with the final product- we really do make a great team! We also have a fiercely independent seven year old son, a spunky 2 year old girl, and two pups!
My favorite style of photography is senior photography, because my favorite thing about people is celebrating what makes them unique! Seniors are usually ready to take on the next chapter of their lives and love to be celebrated in photos. I consider it an honor to be there to help them do that!
When I'm not taking photos, you can find me providing mental health services to children as my "day job", cooking or baking up a storm to host others, or spending time with my family!
